After Al-Ahli's Complaint, Disciplinary Committee Settles Position on Punishing Al-Nasr Official
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee issued a new decision today regarding the complaint filed by Al-Ahli Club against Al-Nasr official Faisal Al-Salhiem, in connection with the events that accompanied the match between the two teams in the Saudi Roshn League last season.
The incident dates back to the match between Al-Ahli and Al-Nasr in the last round of the Roshn League, which ended with Al-Alami winning 2-0, and witnessed tense atmospheres on the field after skirmishes broke out between several players from both teams following the final whistle, prompting the intervention of technical and administrative staff and some officials to contain the situation.
Following these events, Al-Ahli Club filed an official complaint against Faisal Al-Salhiem, alleging assault on one of their players during the clashes after the match, so the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee began studying the case.

After reviewing all documents and defenses submitted, the committee decided to accept the complaint formally before rejecting it on substantive grounds, stressing that the decision is appealable according to Article (144) of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations.
Al-Ahli Club has the right to appeal the decision within the period specified in the regulations, if they wish to continue legal proceedings regarding the case.
It is worth noting that Al-Nasr ultimately won the Roshn League title after a fierce battle with Al-Hilal that lasted until the final moments.
