Al Hilal first football team will start training at Princess Nourah University Stadium in Riyadh for the first time early next August, according to a special source from Al Riyadiya. The same source stated that the stadium, for which Al Hilal signed a contract last July to host the team's training, will host the sessions after returning from the European camp on August 3. On the other hand, the management set 7:00 PM on Saturday as the start time for the first phase of preparations, after the official holiday, at the club's stadium. A meeting will be held between the players and the support staff to introduce the preparatory program. The first phase includes medical examinations for players and training at the club's stadium under the leadership of Italian Simone Inzaghi, followed by an external camp in Austria from July 15 to August 3. In a related matter, international players Salem Al-Dawsari, Hassan Tambakti, Mutab Al-Harbi, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Sultan Mandash, Mohamed Kanno, and Ali Lajami, in addition to Uruguayan Darwin Nunez and Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly, will join the external camp on July 18, after being granted additional leave following their participation with the national teams in the 2026 World Cup. Moroccan Yassine Bounou, Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly, Portuguese Ruben Neves, his compatriot Joao Cancelo, whose loan at Spanish Barcelona ended, and French Theo Hernandez will join the camp after finishing their World Cup participation. Al Hilal faces three challenges in the new season: the Saudi Roshn League, the King's Cup, and the AFC Champions League Elite. The Blue team finished second in the Saudi Roshn League last season, won the King's Cup, and on the continental front, they left the AFC Champions League Elite in the round of 16.
