According to the Saudi Swimming Federation's account on platform 'X', Al-Shelati came third in the 50m freestyle race for the 13-14 age group, achieving a new record with a time of 25.15 seconds. 'Al-Akhdar' qualified for the quarterfinals in the Asian Aquatics Championships in Thailand after two important wins over Korea and India. The 'Al-Akhdar' roster included 16 players: Abdulaziz Al-Issa, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Hassan Al-Shelati, Sari Al-Arba'ini, Hassan Al-Yousef, Mohammed Al-Abdulal, Mayar Al-Yami, Talia Al-Barqi, Emad Al-Sibyani, Ali Al-Busaidi, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Fahd Al-Uqaila, Hamza Al-Ayed, Khaled Al-Balbesi, Rawad Al-Dosari, and Ali Al-Abdulwahab.
