Saudi Al-Ahli first football team achieved a landslide victory over its Austrian counterpart Pinzgau Saalfelden with a score of 8-0 in a friendly match held on Saturday, as part of the preparatory camp in Austria ahead of the new season.

Armenian Edward Spiritsyan opened the scoring for Al-Ahli in the 29th minute, before Saleh Abu Al-Shamat strengthened the result by scoring the second goal in the 40th minute. Ricardo Matias closed the first-half account by scoring the third goal in the 45+2 minute, raising Al-Ahli's tally to a clean treble before the break.

In the second half, Al-Ahli continued its relentless offensive superiority; Mishal Al-Mutairi scored the fourth goal in the 51st minute, then Ricardo Matias returned to add his personal second and the team's fifth in the 58th minute. Yassin Al-Zubaidi added the sixth goal in the 62nd minute, while Moussa Abu Bakr concluded the goal festival with a brace in the 68th and 82nd minutes, raising the tally to eight goals without reply.

Al-Ahli is holding its preparatory camp in Austria as part of its intensive preparations to compete in the new sports season at the best possible level.
