Al-Ahli club management finalized the signing of Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão on a four-year contract, as part of the club's plan to strengthen the first football team squad in preparation for the new sports season and competition in local and continental championships.

The deal was concluded after reaching a final agreement with the player and his club, following negotiations that lasted over the past period, with Al-Ahli securing one of the most prominent deals of the current summer transfer window, as part of its effort to enhance the team's attacking power.

Okaz had exclusively revealed on July 8 that Al-Ahli had reached an agreement with Trincão and his club, confirming that the deal received direct support from Portuguese sporting director Rui Pedro, who placed his compatriot at the top of options to strengthen the winger position.

The signing of Trincão comes based on the technical vision of German coach Matthias Jaissle, who seeks to raise the quality of attacking options with elements possessing European experience, enhancing the team's ability to compete in all commitments during the upcoming season.

Trincão has a distinguished professional record, having previously represented Sporting Braga, Barcelona (Spain), Wolverhampton (England), and Sporting Lisbon, in addition to his international appearances with the Portuguese national team, starting a new chapter in his career wearing the Al-Ahli shirt.
