Al Ahly ends its relationship with 'Trezeguet'
Egyptian club Al Ahly announced the end of its relationship with Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet', the first-team football striker, as published by the club on Tuesday. Al Ahly wrote in its statement after ending the relationship: 'In light of friendly discussions and consultations, and a financial settlement governed by a distinguished relationship between the player and his club, Al Ahly thanked Trezeguet for the past period, during which he made every effort to contribute with his teammates to achieve the best results at all levels.' The player, 31 years old, expressed his full gratitude to the club and its board of directors for the attention and appreciation he received, and his appreciation and love for the loyal Al Ahly fans, whom he is proud of and owes a lot of support and encouragement throughout his career. Trezeguet started his career in the ranks of Al Ahly, and then moved to several European experiences, including: Anderlecht in Belgium, Aston Villa in England, Trabzonspor in Turkey, and Al Rayyan in Qatar, before returning again last season to the ranks of Egyptian Al Ahly.
