(CNN) – Both Al Ahly of Egypt and Barcelona of Spain have announced that they will meet in this year's Joan Gamper Trophy match, marking the fourth time the two clubs will face off.

The match will take place at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona, Spain, the trophy's home ground, on August 19 of this year.

The two teams have previously met three times: in 1961 in a friendly match held in Cairo, then in 2007 as part of Al Ahly's centenary celebrations, and in 2009 in a friendly match in London.

This edition will be the 61st in the history of the Joan Gamper Trophy, whose previous edition saw Barcelona face Como of Italy at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
