Al-Fateh Club has moved close to finalizing the deal to sign Zambian winger Lameck Banda from Italian club Lecce during the current summer transfer window, as part of strengthening the team's squad in preparation for the new season.

According to Zambian journalist Wami Katanga, the 25-year-old Banda is on the verge of moving to Al-Fateh, after reaching advanced stages in negotiations with his Italian club.

Banda is one of the most prominent players of the Zambia national team, known for his great speed and ability to play in multiple positions in the forward line, which prompted Al-Fateh's management to move to sign him to boost the team's attacking options.

If the deal is officially completed, the player will have his first experience in the Saudi Roshn League, after a period spent in the Italian league with Lecce, where he gained significant experience in one of the strongest European leagues.

The official announcement of the deal is expected in the coming days, pending the completion of the final procedures between all parties.
