Al-Hilal announces successful surgery for Salem Al-Dawsari

Saudi club Al-Hilal announced that Salem Al-Dawsari, the captain of the first football team, underwent successful knee surgery.

The club said via its account on platform X that Al-Dawsari underwent surgery on the site of his knee tendon injury on Tuesday morning in Finland, under the supervision of specialist doctor Lempinen.

Al-Hilal clarified that Salem Al-Dawsari is scheduled to begin his treatment and rehabilitation program at a specialized medical center under the supervision of the team's medical staff.

Salem Al-Dawsari, 34, recently finished his participation with the Green in the World Cup finals, where the team failed to advance past the group stage, finishing with two points in fourth place, behind third-placed Uruguay on goal difference.

Al-Dawsari played 26 matches for Al-Hilal last season, scoring 8 goals and providing 10 assists.
