Al Hilal begins preparations with medical check-ups
Al Hilal's first preparations for the new sports season kicked off with medical examinations for the first group of first-team players, as part of the preparatory program ahead of the start of official training.
The Al Hilal delegation is expected to leave for Austria on July 15 for a preparatory camp lasting until August 3, as part of the technical staff's plan to prepare the team for the upcoming season through an integrated training program that includes a number of friendly matches.
This program is part of Al Hilal's preparations for a new season in which they aim to appear at their best level and continue to compete strongly in various local and continental championships, benefiting from the preparation period to equip the players and reach the highest levels of harmony and readiness before kickoff.
On the other hand, Al Hilal has strengthened the club's football system by contracting a specialized sports management team comprising a number of qualified experts in various fields. This is part of the development plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of sports work, improving sports operations, strengthening integration between different departments, and supporting administrative work to contribute to achieving the club's goals and continuing to compete in local, continental, and international championships. This step comes in implementation of Al Hilal's development projects according to an institutional vision aimed at building an integrated and sustainable sports system that supports the club's ambitions and the aspirations of its fans. The recent period has seen work on several sports files, aligning them with the club's strategies and future plans to ensure the readiness of the club's sports system and meet the needs of the first football team. The Englishman 'Simon Francis' has begun his work as Technical Director of Football at Al Hilal, after a career in which he progressed as a player at the English club 'Bournemouth' for 15 years, before taking on a number of technical sports roles, then leading the sports strategies, recruitment, and development plans at the same club, contributing to the club's transformation journey in a highly competitive and rapidly growing environment. The new sports management, which the club administration has contracted, includes a number of administrative titles, most notably 'Recruitment Director', 'Scouting Director', 'Senior Technical Scout', and 'Operations Director'. They will be responsible for implementing the club's sports strategy and overseeing several files aimed at enhancing the efficiency of sports work from an integrated perspective, as part of the project to develop the club's football system, whose stages will be completed according to the approved plan, and updates will be announced in due course.
