The absence of national team and Al Hilal captain Salem Al-Dawsari and international defender Hassan Tambakti from the team's ongoing preparations in Austria has been confirmed, as well as their absence from the first rounds of the new Roshn Saudi League season. This follows Salem undergoing surgery yesterday in Finland on his knee tendon injury, performed by specialist doctor Lassi Lempainen, after which he will need to follow two treatment and rehabilitation programs lasting from one and a half to two months.

At the same time, Tambakti is required to follow a treatment and rehabilitation program for the same period after the injury he sustained while participating with the national team in the recent World Cup, diagnosed as a tear in the tendon of his right foot.
