Al Jazeera - Tariq Al-Aboudi:
The absence of national team and Al-Hilal captain Salem Al-Dawsari and international defender Hassan Tambakti from the team's ongoing preparations in Austria has been confirmed, as has their absence from the first rounds of the new Roshn Saudi League season. This comes after Al-Dawsari underwent surgery yesterday in Finland on his knee tendon injury, performed by specialist Dr. Lassi Lempainen. He will then follow a two-part treatment and rehabilitation program lasting between one and a half to two months.
At the same time, Tambakti is required to follow a similar treatment and rehabilitation program for the same period after the injury he sustained while playing for the national team in the last World Cup, diagnosed as a tear in the right foot tendon.
Regarding the Austria camp, training continues in two sessions, morning and evening, with great focus from the technical staff led by Inzaghi on fitness and physical aspects.
Young player Mohammed Al-Sarnowkh joined his colleagues in the camp 24 hours after the announcement of his transfer to the world leader from Al-Fateh.
The team is preparing to play its second friendly match, which will bring it together with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns the day after tomorrow, Friday.
Al-Hilal had started its friendly matches in the camp with a win over Austrian Sturm Graz by two goals from Benzema and Malcom against one goal in the match held on Sunday.
