Al Hilal has firmly entered the race to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, after submitting a formal offer in an attempt to secure the deal before its Italian competitor Roma.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed, via his account on platform X, that Al Hilal submitted a formal offer to West Ham United today, and also sent a formal offer to the camp of player Crysencio Summerville, in a step aimed at accelerating negotiations and sealing the deal.

Romano explained that Al Hilal's move came after Roma's third offer to West Ham United, as the Saudi club seeks to hijack the deal at the last moment and win the services of the Dutch winger, amid direct competition between the two sides.

Romano pointed out that the final decision regarding the future of Crysencio Summerville is expected to be announced soon, amid the ongoing battle between Al Hilal and Roma to secure the player's signature during the current transfer window.
