Al Hilal Club announced this Sunday morning its official signing of goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais, coming from Al-Ula Club, during the current summer transfer window, as part of strengthening the squad ahead of the new season.

The club revealed the deal via its official account on the 'X' platform, through a promotional clip bearing the phrase: 'Returned to his home,' referring to the international goalkeeper's return to represent the blue team once again.

Al-Owais returns to Al Hilal two seasons after his departure, as he moved to Al-Ula before the club decided to bring him back, benefiting from his great experience at both local and international levels. The 34-year-old goalkeeper is considered one of the most prominent goalkeepers in Saudi football, as he has a rich record of appearances with the Saudi national team, and was one of the standout stars of the 'Green' during their journey in the 2026 World Cup, after delivering outstanding performances and contributing to notable results.

Al-Owais's return comes as part of Al Hilal's moves to strengthen their options in the goalkeeper position, ahead of the start of the new season competitions, during which the team aims to compete for all local and continental titles.
