This morning, Salem Al-Dawsari, captain of Al-Hilal and the Saudi national team, underwent a successful operation on his knee tendon injury, performed by Finnish specialist Dr. Lassi Lempainen. It was decided that Al-Dawsari will undergo his treatment and rehabilitation program in the coming period at one of the specialized medical centers, under the supervision and follow-up of the team's medical staff, to fully recover from this injury, for which Al-Dawsari will need a treatment and rehabilitation period ranging from 6 to 8 weeks. This injury will keep the player from participating with his team in the opening of the upcoming sports season, as the Saudi Professional League competitions will start on August 13, and the Round of 32 of the King's Cup will begin on the 16th of the same month.
