Al Hilal strengthens football system with specialized sports management
The Board of Directors of Al Hilal Club Company has strengthened the club's football system by contracting with a specialized sports management team comprising a number of qualified experts in various fields. This step is part of developmental plans aimed at improving the efficiency of sports work, developing sports operations, enhancing integration between different departments, and supporting administrative work to help achieve the club's goals and continue competing in local, continental, and international tournaments.
This step comes as part of Al Hilal's development projects under an institutional vision aimed at building an integrated and sustainable sports system that supports the club's ambitions and the aspirations of its fans. The recent period has seen work on various sports files, aligning them with the club's strategies and future plans to ensure the readiness of the club's sports system and meet the needs of the first football team.
Englishman Simon Francis has begun his duties as Technical Director of Football at Al Hilal Club, after a career that saw him progress as a player at English club Bournemouth for 15 years, before taking on several technical sports roles, then leading sports strategies and recruitment and development plans at the same club, contributing to the club's transformation journey in a highly competitive and rapidly growing environment.
The new sports management, which the club administration has contracted, includes several administrative positions, most notably 'Recruitment Manager,' 'Scouting Manager,' 'Senior Technical Scout,' and 'Operations Manager.' They will be responsible for implementing the club's sports strategy and overseeing a number of files aimed at enhancing the efficiency of sports work from an integrative perspective, as part of the club's football system development project, the stages of which will be completed according to the approved plan, with updates announced in due course.
