Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, of Al-Hilal's first football team, has joined the external training camp in Austria, the club announced on Friday. The player missed the start of the external camp, which is part of the second phase of preparations for the new season, due to an additional leave granted after he finished participating with his country's national team in the 2026 World Cup, the same situation that applied to other international players, including Frenchman Theo Hernandez and Portuguese Ruben Neves. The capital's blue camp in Austria extends until August 3, and includes morning and evening training sessions under the leadership of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, and features four friendly matches, the first of which will be against Sturm Graz on Sunday, then four days later he faces South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, then MC Alger on July 29, and concludes the tests against Qatar's Al Ahli on the last day of the camp.
