Turkish press reports revealed that the management of Al-Ittihad Club is close to deciding the future of Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri during the current summer transfer window, as the club aims to restructure the squad in preparation for the new sports season.

Turkish newspaper 'Ajansspor' reported that the Al-Ittihad administration has decided to release En-Nesyri, coinciding with its moves to sign a new foreign striker to lead the front line, indicating that the official announcement about the player's future may be issued within the next few days.

En-Nesyri had joined Al-Ittihad during the last winter transfer window coming from Turkish club Fenerbahçe, in a deal worth about 15 million euros, to compensate for the absence of Frenchman Karim Benzema during that period.

The Moroccan striker played 15 matches for Al-Ittihad in various competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing one assist, delivering impressive performances during his time with the team.

In recent weeks, En-Nesyri's name has been linked with a move to several Saudi Roshn League clubs, most notably Al-Shabab and Al-Qadsiah, after reports indicated interest from the two clubs in signing him, either permanently or on loan, to strengthen the attacking power before the start of the new season.
