Al-Ittihad club's management continues its intensive moves in the summer transfer market to strengthen the team's ranks, as sporting director Frank Carbo leads ongoing negotiations with Al-Ettifaq officials to finalize the signing of international winger Khaled Al-Ghannam.

According to informed sources, Carbo is in daily contact with Hatem Al-Mashal, head of Al-Ettifaq's football committee, in an attempt to narrow differences and reach a final agreement to secure the player's transfer to Al-Ittihad during the current transfer window.

Al-Ghannam is a technical target for Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ittihad's desire to sign Al-Ghannam comes after the technical staff became convinced of his technical abilities and his ability to add speed and attacking solutions on the flanks, in addition to his experience in local competitions, making him one of the most prominent targets to strengthen the team before the start of the new season.

The Al-Ittihad administration seeks to conclude negotiations as soon as possible, while consultations continue between the two clubs to finalize the details of the deal, as the Al-Ittihad officials aim to close the file before the start of the final stage of preparations for the upcoming season.
