Al-Ittihad resumes training.. German coach leads the team
Al-Ittihad team continued its preparations for the new season, after resuming training at the club's headquarters last Tuesday, where the players underwent a series of physical and fitness tests that lasted for three days.
The training saw the return of a number of loaned players, most notably Marwan Al-Sahafi, Moath Faqihi, and Spanish Unai Hernández, in preparation for their assessment before the start of the season.

German head coach Jens Vissing arrived in Jeddah on Friday evening, and will take over the team's training starting today, as he will begin evaluating the team's elements and determining its technical needs, in addition to preparing a comprehensive report on the squad in the coming period.
The Al-Ittihad delegation is expected to leave for the Spanish city of Marbella on July 15 to hold an external camp that will last until the 31st of the same month, before returning to Jeddah, then heading to Abu Dhabi in preparation for facing Emirati club Al-Jazira on August 11 in the qualifying playoff for the AFC Champions League Elite.
