Racer Ma'moun Amro Al-Qabbani won the title of the second round of the Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship 2026, which concluded yesterday, on the Al-Muhammadiyah Pass course in the Al-Shafa area of Taif Governorate, after setting a new course record, strengthening his championship lead by achieving his second consecutive victory.

The round, held under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, managed by Bakhshab Motorsports, and in partnership with Jameel Motorsports, saw the participation of 46 racers (male and female) competing in ten categories, in addition to the Women's Cup, on the Al-Muhammadiyah Pass course, which is considered one of the most challenging courses in the championship.

Ma'moun Al-Qabbani succeeded in taking the overall lead after recording a combined best time of 3 minutes, 25 seconds, and 451 milliseconds, and also set the fastest time in the course's history during the second race with 1 minute, 42 seconds, and 301 milliseconds, ahead of Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani who finished second, while Rabie Moayad Al-Aawar came third.

The category results saw Ma'moun Al-Qabbani win the Class 1 title, while Rabie Moayad Al-Aawar topped Class 2A, Riyad won Class 2B, Mahmoud Ahmed Abed won Class 3A, Ibrahim Al-Shuraidah won Class 3B, Abdulaziz Majed Al-Fadhili won Class 4A, Abdullah Momenah won Class 4B, Faisal Amin Nu'man won Class 5A, Omar Abdullah Al-Daini won Class 5B, and Abdullah Ahmed Al-Omari won the Cat 2 SS title.

In the Women's Cup competition, Reem Al-Aboud took first place, Enas Abtini came second, and Yasmine Emad Al-Sayed finished third.

On the organizational side, 38 marshals contributed to managing the round's proceedings by organizing the movement of racers and vehicles, monitoring course readiness, and implementing safety procedures, which helped the competitions run professionally.

The Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship 2026 is scheduled to conclude with the third and final round on the Al-Muhammadiyah Pass course from July 31 to August 1.
