Al-Nassr team has wrapped up the first phase of its preparations for the new season, having concluded its training sessions in Riyadh, before heading to the Portuguese capital Lisbon to hold an external camp, which represents the most important stage of the preparatory program.

The Portugal camp is expected to see the completion of the team's roster with the joining of international players, both local and foreign, after their participation with their national teams in the World Cup concludes, giving the technical staff the opportunity to work with all its elements before the start of the season.

The club explained, via its official account on the 'X' platform, last Saturday evening, that the training session held on Saturday was the last inside the Kingdom, signaling the start of the external camp, which continues until the beginning of next August. Al-Nassr also revealed its schedule of friendly matches during the camp, as it opens its matches against Benfica's second team on July 22, before meeting Spanish side Mérida on the 28th of the same month, then faces Portuguese side Estrela da Amadora on August 1. Al-Nassr concludes its friendly preparations in Portugal with a match against Spanish side Almería on August 4, with the team delegation returning to Riyadh the following day, in preparation for entering the final stage before the start of official competitions.
