Al-Nassr's Australian coach Ange Postecoglou and his assistant staff will receive on Saturday the medical report of Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez after he suffered a hamstring injury during the Abha preseason camp, according to a source from Al-Riyadiya. The Spanish defender was injured in the last training session of the first stage camp in Abha. He was one of the key elements of Al-Nassr's defensive line last season, having started for the team since joining last summer on a free transfer from Barcelona in his home country. The defender played 43 matches for Al-Nassr in various competitions, scoring four goals, receiving eight yellow cards in 3,717 minutes of play, and contributed to the team winning the Roshn League title.

On another note, the league champion's delegation will depart for Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, on Sunday to organize a preseason camp that will continue until August 5, 2026. Al-Riyadiya previously indicated that Australian coach Ange Postecoglou preferred to advance the date of the external camp, which was originally set for July 25. The same sources confirmed that Postecoglou requested Portuguese sporting director Simão Couthino to secure five friendly matches during the external camp, four of which were approved on Friday, in order to closely assess the levels of all players. The holder of the Saudi Roshn League title is preparing to compete in four tournaments next season: the Saudi League, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League Elite.
