Al-Qadsiah first football team settled for a goalless draw with Girona on Saturday at the Cameral stadium in their second friendly match during their ongoing camp in Spain, preparing for the new season. The draw is the second for the eastern team during the preparations after their first match against Real Oviedo ended with the same result. Northern Irishman Brendan Rodgers, Al-Qadsiah's coach, entered the match with a starting lineup featuring the most prominent stars and new signings, including: Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels, Spanish Nacho Fernandez, Uruguayan Gaston Alvarez, his compatriot Nahitan Nandez, Yasser Al-Shahrani, German Julian Weigl, Moroccan Sofyan Al-Karouani, Portuguese Otavio Monteiro, Turki Al-Amar, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, and Ghanaian Jerry Afri.
