Al Kassar has a decorated career during which he moved between a number of clubs, and previously represented the national team on several occasions, most recently his presence in the national team's squad for the 2026 World Cup, which gave him great experience at both local and international levels. His presence is of particular importance within the goalkeeping system at Al Qadsiah alongside Belgian Koen Casteels and Mashari Seniour, as it gives the team more options, experience, and competitiveness in this position.
