Saudi Chess Federation Organizes Chess Tournament in Arar
The Saudi Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Liyakat Sports Association, organized yesterday the Chess Tournament at Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed Hall in Arar, with the participation of a number of players and enthusiasts of the game of chess, as part of its efforts to spread the game and expand its base of practitioners in various regions of the Kingdom.
The tournament aims to enhance the spread of chess in society, support its practice as a mental sport that contributes to developing skills of concentration, planning, and strategic thinking, in addition to discovering talents and providing a stimulating competitive environment for participants, thereby enhancing community sports participation.
The tournament is part of the Saudi Chess Federation's programs aimed at spreading and developing the game, in cooperation with sports and community entities, in line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 in promoting sports practice, developing mental abilities, and supporting the discovery of sports talents in various regions of the Kingdom.
