Sources told Asharq Al-Awsat that Saudi player Mohammed Al-Rashidi is on the verge of returning to the Saudi Professional League, having nearly completed signing procedures with Al-Kholood, after a professional journey he undertook in multiple European stations over the past four years.

According to the same sources, the management of Al-Kholood showed clear interest in signing the 24-year-old player, who is considered one of the most prominent models of the Saudi football scholarship program known as 'Future Falcons'.

Al-Rashidi began his football career at the academy of Ohod Club before being selected to participate in the program that allowed him to have an early professional experience outside the Kingdom.

In February 2022, the player signed his first contract with Czech club Slavia Prague B, a station that marked his launch towards European professionalism.

From the Czech Republic, Al-Rashidi moved to Greece in September 2023 to wear the shirt of PAOK B, before having another experience with Kavala at the beginning of 2024.

The summer of the same year saw a pivotal station in his career when he joined Panserraikos, where he had a notable experience that made him the first Saudi player in history to play regularly in the Greek Super League.

In the summer of 2025, Al-Rashidi moved to the Belgian league, signing with Patro Eisden Maasmechelen, in his fifth European station before deciding to return to the Saudi league through the gate of Al-Kholood.
