Al-Saadi Bolsters Al-Khaleej's Ranks
The management of Al-Khaleej Club announced on Sunday that it has signed Nawaf Al-Saadi to bolster the first football team's ranks with a contract extending until summer 2028, according to the club's official account on platform 'X'. Al-Saadi, 25, joined Al-Khaleej on a free transfer after the end of his affiliation with Al-Shabab, becoming one of the options for Portuguese Jose Gomes, the team's coach, before the start of the new sports season. The player progressed through the age groups of Mohayel Club before moving to Abha, then Al-Shabab, which loaned him to Damac last season. During his professional career, Al-Saadi has played 90 matches in various competitions, scoring five goals and providing three assists, according to the global site 'Transfermarkt'. Al-Khaleej is preparing for the new season under the leadership of Portuguese Jose Gomes, who took over the task from Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet, after the team finished last season in 12th place in the Saudi Roshn League with 37 points, collected from 10 wins, seven draws, and 17 losses.
