Al-Ahli club company has started moves to sign a local right-back, aiming to strengthen the first football team's squad before the start of the next sports season, according to what private sources revealed to Al-Riyadiya. The same sources stated that the management is studying a number of local options available to it, and will enter into official negotiations in the coming days with the names approved by the technical staff. In a related context, German Matthias Jaissle, the team's coach, called up Abdulrahman Al-Sayyadi and Yazan Madni, players from the under-21 team, to join the ongoing first-team camp in Portugal. The duo had participated in the under-21 team's ongoing camp in Turkey before Jaissle requested their inclusion in the first-team training to assess their technical levels. Al-Sayyadi plays as a left-back, while Madni is proficient in the defensive midfield and right-back positions. The Jeddawi club's preparations in Portugal extend until the 28th of this month, including four friendly matches against Rio Ave, Vitória Guimarães, Portimonense, and Fulham.
