The match between Al-Ettifaq first football team and its English counterpart York City ended in a positive 2-2 draw in the friendly match that brought them together on Friday evening.

This match comes as part of the external preparatory camp that Al-Ettifaq is currently holding in Spain, in preparation for the start of the next sports season.

The double for Al-Ettifaq team in the match was scored by French striker Moussa Dembélé and his Portuguese teammate João Costa.

This is the third friendly match for Al-Ettifaq in its Spanish camp, where 'Al-Nawakhidha' achieved positive results in the previous two matches, sweeping Spanish Costa City with eight goals without reply (8-0), and defeating Malaysian Johor by three goals to two (3-2).

The Saudi team is scheduled to conclude the current phase of its preparatory program on Saturday, by playing its fourth and final friendly match against Spanish team CD Eldense.
