Winger Nawaf Al-Habashi officially moved to Al-Hilal’s first football team on Monday, coming from Al-Hazem, which agreed to sell the remaining period of his contract. The two clubs announced the deal on Monday evening, and Al-Hilal revealed the signing of a three-season contract with the player. Al-Hazem confirmed its approval of “the request of the brothers in Al-Hilal’s management for the player Nawaf Al-Habashi’s permanent transfer.” The 28-year-old winger will join his new team’s camp, currently underway in Austria in preparation for the upcoming season. The player played 29 matches in the Roshn League last season, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists. In the King Cup, he played one match and scored a goal. Last Tuesday, Al-Riyadiyah reported on its website, citing private sources, that the two clubs had agreed on the player’s transfer from Al-Hazem to Al-Hilal, with “Al-Azraq” granting him a three-season contract. Al-Habashi progressed through the youth categories of Al-Shabab, and represented the first team during the 2018-2019 season, before being loaned to Al-Qadsiah for the following season. After the loan ended, he moved to Al-Diriyah, spending two seasons there, followed by a move to Al-Riyadh where he spent one season. The new Al-Hilal winger joined Al-Hazem in the summer of 2023, representing them in 92 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists.
