Al-Ahli first football team will play their first of seven pre-season friendlies on Saturday against Austrian side Bintsgau Zell am See. Al-Ahli continued their external camp on Friday, which started a week ago in Saalfelden, under the supervision of German Matthias Jaissle, before traveling on July 16 to Portugal to start the second phase of the camp until July 28. Al-Ahli will face German Holstein Kiel on July 15, Portuguese Rio Ave on July 19, Vitória Guimarães on July 24, then play two matches on the same day July 28 against Portuguese Portimonense at 1:00 PM and English Fulham at 8:00 PM. After returning from the preparatory camp that goes through two phases in Austria and Portugal, Al-Ahli will face their counterpart Abha on August 6. It was decided that six trial matches will be broadcast on the 'stc tv' platform, while the Portimonense match will be played behind closed doors. Al-Ahli awaits a busy season with competitions including the Saudi Roshn League, King Cup, Saudi Super Cup, AFC Champions League Elite, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
