Al-Shabab first-team players underwent medical examinations at a specialized clinic in Riyadh on Monday morning, before departing for Austria, the venue of the external preparatory camp, according to the official account on platform 'X'. Al-Shabab players are preparing to leave for Austria next Wednesday, the camp location, which runs until August 5, and includes five friendly matches, to be announced later. Al-Shabab management announced last Sunday the signing of German Thomas Letsch to take over the technical leadership of the team on a contract extending until 2027, preceded by the appointment of Algerian Dr. Jamal Khalifa as team doctor, and the signing of Belgian Olivier Renard to take over as sporting director.
