The Saudi U-17 women's football team begins its campaign in the West Asian Football Federation Championship, in its sixth edition, on Friday, facing its Syrian counterpart. The Green Girls prepared for the tournament, their second participation in history, with an eight-day training camp under the guidance of Croatian coach Stella Gotal, hosted in the Jordanian capital Amman, with the participation of 24 players. The Green coach selected the list of players participating in the tournament: Dana Al-Benali, Joud Ibrahim, Maryam Al-Tayyar, Rital Hakami, Arwa Al-Rashid, Diala Saruji, Suwar Amro, Hawraa Jalal, Reem Al-Mubarak, Joud Al-Amoudi, Hiba Ohashi, Ghala Saleh, Ghadi Al-Otaibi, Rimas Ahmed, Jawan Al-Nassar, Rimas Al-Aradi, Hala Al-Shadoukhi, Sadeem Al-Suhaimi, Reema Abdulaziz, Kenzi Alaa, Dima Ibrahim, Yara Al-Saleh, Zainab Reda, Dana Al-Dahyan. The first day of the tournament also features another match between Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa. The Green Girls continue their participation with a second match against Lebanon on Sunday, July 19, while they conclude their group stage participation against the UAE on Tuesday, the 21st of the same month.
