Al Hilal club announced the success of the surgical operation undergone by team captain Salem Al-Dawsari to treat the injury he suffers from in the knee tendon, after evaluating his medical condition in Finland.

On Monday, Al-Dawsari underwent a medical examination with specialist doctor Lansi Limpainnen to diagnose the injury and determine the extent of his need for surgical intervention.

Al Hilal explained in a statement published on Tuesday via its official account on platform "X" that "player Salem Al-Dawsari underwent a surgical operation on the site of his injury in the knee tendon, which was crowned with success."

The club added that the operation was performed on Tuesday morning in Finland by the specialist doctor Limpainnen, noting that it was decided that Salem Al-Dawsari would begin his treatment and rehabilitation program at one of the specialized medical centers, under the supervision of the team's medical staff.

Al Hilal had announced on July 10 that Al-Dawsari needed a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting between six and eight weeks, but the player undergoing surgery may extend his absence from the fields.
