Al Jazeera - Issa Al-Hakami:

Al-Nassr's first team begins the second stage of its preparatory program for the new season today, Sunday. The second stage lasts 10 days, featuring two friendly matches, one of which is against Damac. It will be followed by a two-day break for the players before moving to Lisbon for the third and final stage. Damac's stadium hosts Al-Nassr's training under the leadership of Australian Ange Postecoglou.

The first stage, which began last Sunday in Riyadh, included, in addition to seasonal medical examinations, intensive physical and technical training with the participation of available players, while those involved in the 2026 World Cup were absent, as was French defender Mohamed Simakan, who was absent with permission from the club's executive management.

On the transfer front, the technical staff is discussing with executive director Smedo and sporting director Simão how to fill the gaps following the departure of Croatian Brozovic, and discussing the ideas the coach wants to strengthen the squad in line with his training method.
