Mokwena is 39 years old, born on January 8, 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Despite his young age, he began his coaching career early and led several clubs, notably South Africa's Sundowns, Morocco's Wydad, Algeria's MC Alger, and Libya's Al-Ittihad. Mokwena has won many titles during his coaching career, including 4 South African league titles, as well as the African Football League title with Sundowns, in addition to the Algerian Super Cup with MC Alger.
