Ange Postecoglou, the head coach of Al-Nassr, has decided on the team's goalkeeper for next season, amid reports linking Brazilian goalkeeper Bento Matheus with a departure from the club.

Sources confirmed that Al-Nassr manager Ange Postecoglou is currently considering letting Bento Matheus leave the squad and signing a foreign player in another position, while relying on Nawaf Al-Aqidi as the starting goalkeeper for next season.

Several names are currently being considered to join Al-Nassr and bolster the goalkeeping position, most notably Mohammed Al-Yami of Al-Hilal, who is close to leaving after the signing of Mohammed Al-Owais, as well as Abdul Quddus Atiah, who is also a candidate. Al-Nassr officials have signed Ange Postecoglou to coach the team next season, replacing former coach Jorge Jesus, who won the Roshn League title with the team last season.
