Ambiguity forces Al-Riyadh to retreat from negotiations with Trezeguet

Al-Riyadh club management reviewed the negotiation file with Egyptian international Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet', a player of Al-Ahly Egypt, after a final agreement for his transfer to the team during the current summer transfer window proved elusive due to ambiguity in the negotiations from the Egyptian side.

According to informed sources, the Al-Riyadh management is seriously considering retreating and withdrawing from the negotiations due to the lack of clarity regarding the financial requirements of the deal, along with delays in finalizing it from the Egyptian side, which prompted the club to discontinue talks.

Al-Riyadh management had seen Trezeguet as an outstanding option to bolster the forward line, benefiting from his extensive experience in European and Arab fields, but the stalling of negotiations changed the club's plans in the transfer market.

In light of this, Al-Riyadh management has shifted its focus to a number of alternative names, both in the local and foreign markets, with the aim of finalizing a contract with a foreign player in the winger position, in line with the technical staff's vision and the team's requirements before the start of the new season.
