The management of Al Riyadh Club is studying backing off from continuing negotiations with Egyptian international Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet", after the talks faced several obstacles that prevented reaching a final agreement to complete the deal during the current summer transfer window.

According to informed sources for "Sport 24", Al Riyadh's management's decision came after a lack of clarity on the final financial value to complete the contract, along with hesitation in finalizing the deal from the side of Al Ahly SC of Egypt, which prompted the club to suspend negotiations and move towards studying other options to strengthen the attacking line to make use of time.

Trezeguet was one of the names strongly on the table of Al Riyadh's management, due to his great experience at the European and international levels, but the stalling of negotiations and lack of financial clarity prevented reaching an agreement that satisfies all parties.

On the other hand, Al Riyadh's management continues to work on a number of local and foreign files, searching for technical alternatives that meet the team's needs, while seeking to finalize its deals before the start of the new sports season competitions.
