Riyadh, Safar 09, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 23, 2026, SPA — The Saudi Sports Culture Federation, in partnership with the Saudi Electronic University, launched two diploma programs: the Diploma in Sports Culture and the Diploma in Marketing Management and Sports Investment, as part of its efforts to develop specialized academic programs and prepare qualified national cadres to support the sports sector and enable it to keep pace with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The launch of the two programs comes in response to the rapid changes in the sports sector and as an extension of the integration between academic institutions and the sports sector, enhancing national capacity building and supplying the labor market with competencies possessing practical knowledge and skills in sports culture, marketing, and sports investment. The Diploma in Sports Culture aims to spread sports awareness, promote healthy lifestyles, entrench sports values, and develop social responsibility by preparing cadres capable of designing and implementing awareness initiatives and programs that improve quality of life and enhance community participation. The Diploma in Marketing Management and Sports Investment aims to qualify specialists in sports marketing and investment, equipping them with necessary skills in sports sponsorship management, brand building, digital marketing, and investment in sports assets and facilities, thereby supporting the growth and sustainability of the sports economy. Dr. Suleiman bin Omar Al-Jalhood, President of the Saudi Sports Culture Federation, stressed that the launch of the two programs is an extension of the rapid leaps and successive achievements witnessed in the sports and youth sector, thanks first to God, then to the generous support and great attention of the wise leadership, and under the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and with the support of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, support that has turned ambitions into achievements and visions into a reality that is pointed out with pride. He added that the two programs represent a strategic step in the Federation's journey towards entrenching sports culture and building a specialized educational system that meets the needs of the sports sector and contributes to preparing and qualifying national talents, emphasizing that the current stage requires investment in human capital and empowering competencies capable of leading the qualitative transformation in Saudi sports. He explained that the partnership with the Institute of Research and Studies at the Saudi Electronic University reflects the integration of roles between the academic and sports sectors, contributing to the provision of modern educational programs that combine academic qualification and practical application, in line with best international practices, and enhancing graduates' readiness to compete in the labor market and contribute to developing the sports marketing and investment system and spreading sports culture, amid the comprehensive sports renaissance the Kingdom is experiencing. // End // 03:29 T M 0017
