Al-Shabab Club management announced on Thursday the signing of Ali Al-Asmari from Neom on a one-season loan.
This deal comes as part of Al-Shabab's moves in the summer transfer window to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Al-Shabab said via its account on X platform: "The club's management, chaired by Abdulaziz Al-Malk, signed the transfer contract for player Ali Al-Asmari from Neom on loan until the end of the season."

"Sport 24" had pointed to Neom's direction to make a number of changes to its squad before the new season, especially regarding departing players with no technical need for them in the upcoming period.
Earlier, sources revealed to "Sport 24" that Al-Asmari is out of the team's plans and will not continue with the club, as he had two offers from Saudi clubs to choose from in the coming days to decide his next destination.
Neom had announced Al-Asmari's departure earlier, as part of changes the team is undergoing. According to previous sources, Al-Asmari had received two offers from Saudi clubs before deciding to move to Al-Shabab.
