Informed sources revealed to Asharq Al-Awsat the full list with which Badr Al-Raziza will enter the race for the presidency of the board of directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. The list includes Louay Musha'abi as vice president, in his capacity as a leadership and sports expert; Fahd Al-Mansour as an expert in economics, planning, and compliance; Nicholas Coward as an expert in football governance and competition management; Lamia bin Bihyan as a representative of women's football; Salman Al-Sudairi as a legal expert; Omar Al-Juraisi as a commercial and investment expert; Thamer Al-Saadoun as an expert in strategic planning and governance; and Gerard Roddy as an expert in football development and youth categories.

This list comes as the Election Committee of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation begins, today (Wednesday), receiving candidacy applications, which will continue until next August 1, according to the timetable announced last week.

Asharq Al-Awsat had exclusively published the list of candidate Hatem Khimi on July 17 of this year, and also published the list of candidate Mueidh Al-Shahri on July 14, before revealing today the list of Badr Al-Raziza, making the newspaper have reviewed the lists of the three most prominent candidates before the electoral race officially begins.

The Election Committee is scheduled to begin examining the lists of candidates during the period from August 2 to 7, with the preliminary lists to be announced on August 8. Meanwhile, appeals and complaints will be received by the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center from August 9 to 13, to be decided between August 15 and 23, with results announced on August 24.

August 25 will be the last date for candidates to withdraw, before the final lists are announced on August 26. Then the election campaigns will begin from August 27 until August 29, with the elections to be held during the extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation on August 30, 2026.
