(CNN)-- The Jordanian referee crew, consisting of Adham Al-Makhadma, Muhammad Al-Khalf, and Ahmad Al-Ruwaili, arrived in the capital, Amman, on Tuesday, after the end of their participation in the 2026 World Cup.

Upon their arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, the referee crew received a warm welcome with cheers from the crowd and commemorative gifts from representatives of the Jordan Football Association.

Al-Makhadma, Al-Khalf, and Al-Ruwaili officiated matches at the World Cup, which was held in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.

Adham Al-Makhadma served as the main referee in 4 matches: Spain vs. Cape Verde, Belgium vs. New Zealand, England vs. Congo, and USA vs. Belgium. He also stood alongside his compatriot Muhammad Al-Khalf as part of the referee crew for the World Cup final, in which Spain defeated Argentina 1-0.
