Barcelona continues its strong presence in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as ten of its international players reached the semifinals with their national teams, ensuring that Barcelona will have at least one representative in the final match.

Among the four remaining teams in the tournament, three have Barcelona players: Spain, France, and England. The Blaugrana also guarantees at least one player in the final when France meets Spain in the semifinals.

The semifinals kick off today with a highly anticipated match between Spain and France, which holds special significance for Barcelona as nine players linked to the Catalan club will be participating.

Representing Spain are Lamine Yamal, Eric García, Pedri, Gavi, Pau Cubarsí, Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres, and Juan García, while Jules Koundé wears the French national team shirt.

The English national team includes Anthony Gordon, Barcelona's first signing ahead of the new season, as well as Marcus Rashford, who recently played for the Catalan club. The English striker played last season on loan at Barcelona under coach Hansi Flick, but the club ultimately decided not to activate the purchase option in his contract, so he left the team on June 30.
