Egyptian journalist and sports critic Azzedine Al-Klawi presents his own opinion in this article, which does not necessarily reflect the views of CNN.

This article comes on the eve of the anticipated semi-final match between France and Spain, which is considered an early final between the two best teams in the tournament.

We have entered the decisive stage of the title race in the US-Mexico-Canada World Cup. On Tuesday evening, the first semi-final match will take place between France and Spain, an early final between the two best-ranked and most-favored teams in the tournament, while the second match between Argentina and England will be played on Wednesday.

Despite early surprises and controversial early eliminations of giants such as Brazil, Portugal, and the Netherlands, as well as the decline of traditional powers like Croatia and Germany, the quarter-finals saw no surprises, with expected results: France beat Morocco, Spain beat Belgium, England beat Norway, and Argentina beat Switzerland.

And despite the ongoing complaints about refereeing that peaked in the Egypt-Argentina match, the intensity of complaints subsided slightly, limited to Swiss complaints in their match against Argentina, and fewer complaints from Norwegians in their match against England, while no complaints were heard in the France-Morocco and Spain-Belgium matches.

The results were natural and logical for the victory of the four giants in the quarter-finals, as they are the highest-ranked in FIFA rankings and the most favored to win the title.

And despite the continued presence of the defending champion "Tango" team (Argentina) in the competition to defend its world title under the leadership of its legendary star Messi, the most favored and highest-ranked are the two sides in Tuesday's match. So what does the world expect from today's match, the early final between France's "Roosters" and Spain's "Matadors"?

A quick review of their matches shows that the French team won all its matches convincingly and without problems, scoring 16 goals and conceding 2, while the Spanish "Matadors" drew their opening match against Cape Verde 0-0, then won the rest of their matches without obstacles, scoring 11 goals and conceding only one goal from Belgium.

In addition to the collective strength of both teams, attention will be particularly focused on two stars who will compete for the title of best player in the world in the coming era, similar to the phenomenon of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Of course, I mean Frenchman Kylian Mbappé and Spaniard Lamine Yamal. They will be the key bets in today's match and the decisive factor for their respective teams.

Both teams rely on their young stars Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal to decide the result, in a battle reminiscent of the Messi-Ronaldo rivalry. Looking at the teams' performances, it seems the match will be decided by small details, especially since France boasts tremendous attacking strength, while Spain relies on possession and organization. This encounter is a real test of each team's ability to handle pressure in decisive rounds.
