The English Football Association announced it will review an incident that occurred at the media center of the Three Lions in Kansas City on Thursday, after a man broke into the place carrying a metal tool, prompting local authorities to be called.

Coach Thomas Tuchel's side is preparing to play the World Cup quarterfinal match next Saturday against Norway, before traveling from the Midwest region to Miami, Florida on the eve of the match.

According to ESPN, England trained on Thursday afternoon at Swope Soccer Village, which is about half a mile from their media center set up in a community building.

This training session meant no England players or coaching staff were at the scene when a man who appeared distressed entered the media center carrying a metal tool.

The individual was removed from the room and handled by local police, while the English FA prepares to review details of the incident.

England hopes to return to its facilities in Kansas City next week, before playing a World Cup semifinal against Argentina or Switzerland.

England faces Norway, led by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who has scored 7 goals so far in this year's World Cup.

England captain Harry Kane has scored 6 goals in the current tournament, while the Three Lions maintain an unbeaten record in 5 matches played so far in North America.
