Saudi club Al-Ahli has finalized its fourth deal for the upcoming summer transfer window, although it has not yet officially begun.

The summer transfer window in the Saudi league starts on July 22 and continues until its closure on October 12.

Despite that, Al-Ahli has continued its strong chain of deals even before the start of the summer window, as it is on the verge of completing the fourth deal by signing midfielder Naif Masoud from Al-Fateh.

Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Masoud will fly to Portugal in the coming hours to undergo a medical examination and sign his transfer contract with Al-Ahli before joining their external training camp.

Masoud will be Al-Ahli's fourth signing of the summer window, following the acquisitions of Saudi winger Mishal Al-Mutairi from Abha, Gambian defender Abubakar Sidi Kinteh from Norwegian Tromsø, and Armenian midfielder Eduard Spertsyan from Russian Krasnodar.

According to the newspaper, Al-Ahli aims to complete all its deals early to give the players the opportunity and adequate time to work under German coach Matthias Jaissle in the preparatory camp.

Naif Masoud began his career with Al-Qadsiah, where he was promoted to the first team in 2020, before moving on loan to Al-Khaleej in January 2024, and then to Al-Fateh in the summer of the same year.

During the past season, the 25-year-old participated in 27 matches for Al-Fateh in the Roshn League and the King Cup, scoring only one goal and providing no assists.
