Turkish press reports have revealed a decisive development in Beşiktaş’s negotiations with Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star.

Previous reports had indicated that the deal faced a stumbling block due to Mohamed Salah’s agent demanding a commission of €7.5 million, which caused a slowdown in negotiations between the two sides.

According to reliable Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, via his account on 'X', Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah’s agent, has reduced his demands related to the commission value of €7.5 million.

Sabuncuoğlu explained that the amount is now very close to the figure offered by Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı, a step that brought the two sides closer to reaching a final agreement.

Beşiktaş continues to intensify its negotiations to finalize the deal in the coming days, in a deal expected to be the most prominent in the history of the Turkish league if officially announced.

This development comes after weeks of ongoing contacts between the Turkish club’s administration and the player’s representatives, as Beşiktaş places signing Salah at the top of its priorities to strengthen the squad for the new season.
