Al-Fayha have moved closer to sealing the signing of Brazilian midfielder Hugo Moura, 28, after the player officially terminated his contract with Brazilian club Vasco da Gama by mutual consent, ahead of a new professional experience in the Saudi Roshn League.

The negotiations between Al-Fayha and Hugo Moura come at the direct request of Brazilian head coach Fabio Carille, who knows the player's potential well, having previously coached him, and believes in his ability to strengthen the team's midfield in the upcoming season.

According to reports, only a few final details remain before the contracts are officially signed and the player's move to Al-Fayha is announced, in a deal expected to provide the team with an important technical addition in the defensive midfield position.

Hugo Moura is a defensive-minded midfielder, known for his physical strength, ability to win the ball, tactical discipline, and skill in building play from the back. He began his career at Flamengo's academy before playing for several Brazilian clubs, most notably Coritiba and Athletico Paranaense, before moving to Vasco da Gama, where he delivered impressive performances that made him a key element in the midfield in recent times.
